if you could go back...
If you could go back and buy your car brand new, would you buy it exactly as it was configured?

No because my car rides, handles, is faster & gets better mpg now than when it was new :D . Perhaps if I had one of the performane versions I'd feel differently  .

Imagine paying cash for a brand new ZL1. Could you still dicker with a straight face? Maybe get them down $200. You would have been the talk of the dealership for quite sometime. Meanwhile, I'd be thinking, "Gee, I could have got a new Yugo instead!"

Imagine selling said ZL-1 for cash.
Don't know what I'd do with myself to find out my car is worth at least a half million bucks! Talk about an investment.
Of course, a third production ZL-1 would seriously devalue the other two.
And besides that, it's not stock!

Yep...I'd buy the ZL-1. Of course, if it was 1969, I wouldn't have arthritis in both knees, so driving a stick would be no problem.

I attended the Meat Loaf concert on New Year's Eve. Apparently, there are a large number of people who already ARE "back" in the 70's. Maybe I should have asked one of them to pick me up a new vette... :)

I would have added a 454 from the start. Other than that, it's great the way it is.

Would I want to get back the MIGHTY 195hp L48 and TH350? Stock suspension, wheels and tyres? Hmm, let me think that for a second....
