My existing top radiator hose is 1 1/2 inch in diameter.
I ordered the "cool hose" which is a high polished thingy from Summit. I noticed it is only 1 inch in diameter. Is this going to impact the operating temp?
Sorry,OHSIXX my bad, all I saw was Florida and the GS Avatar, is this the item your talking about? http://store.summitracing.com/partde...t=55&view=2047
It says it's 1.15 inside diameter and comes with adapters for 1-3/4, 1-1/2 and 1-1/4 radiators.
Steve - How funny, I think you got GrandSportC3 (Olivier) and OHSIXX confused. You must have seen the actual Grand Sport in OHSIXX's avatar.
Yeah that GS Avatar threw me a curve, :D, anyway I just woke up from my nap, and I'm not seeing things too good yet. I guess I better get back in focus, it's almost time to go home from work.
That looks killer! Was that the one for $45??? How long was it before you cut it? Did it come with those spiffy polished connectors or did you have to buy those separately?
The original length was 24 inches. I wanted a little shape in it rather then just a straight hose. So, cut off about five inches. Yes the hose is about $45 with rubber ends. The chrome end covers were about $21 each.
I lost about a pint of coolant, but already had some on hand in the garage.
