Default Totally Tubular??

Front Tubular "A" arms, much of what you read says they are all the ones you need, so all you members that are running them, who's are the street arms I should run? I have the coil overs in place and stock poly bushed "A" arms, so the bones are there just need to finish things up. This is a mostly street use car that will see some spirited driving and an auto cross or two.

Inquiring minds want to know?

I used Ebay arms for 58 - 64 Impalas. No "Corvette tax". They're usually manufactured with an additional 4* of positive caster. But, they require a few minor modifications. Here's the thread detailing the modifications but, it's very long: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...ar-a-arms.html

I'm going with the Global West control arms when the time comes.

An interesting option.

Are global west better than others? Is it the price, or performance? What lower would you use, the standard or extended travel for the extra $10.?

ONLY $598.75 FOR A PAIR!! IMO, that's just obscene.

SPC give you the best of both worlds.

Specialty Products Company | SPC Alignment | The Automotive Alignment Leaders

#1 adjustability. This is the only good way to get max caster setup without giving up any other adjustments. Shim / slotted a-arms only goes so far.
#2 Tubular arms with bushing that support from street to full race.

I have been running SPC since 2012 and mainly use the car for track days.

I like the Delrin bushing that the Global West has. I would go with the extended travel but I have QA1 coil overs.

Adjust-ability is great, so what lower arms are you running with these uppers? I don't see lowers offered here, or did I miss it?

If your considering Global West upper control arms, be advised that they are almost an inch wider than the stock upper control arms. This is due to the width of the Delrin bushings used. There have been some posts where users have had to modify their headers, cut fan shroud for clearance when using global west upper control arms.

Info that I had not seen yet, thanks. The fan shroud would not be an issue but I am currently running Hooker side pipe headers.
