Need Info on Re-stamping Block
I already had the # discussion with Jim.
I'm sure many of his points are valid and true - to the letter of the law.
Then - the enforcement comes into play.
I seriously don't think that many state agencies are going to prosecute
anyone for say - changing their frame without permission. Unless, for example
the frame came from a stolen car ... :yesnod:

I was in a discussion the other day here where I was a bad guy for putting an SS Emblem on my El Camino, now some want to commit felonies by changing or altering automobile numbers, and that's OK? Go figure I guess.

Good point Dave, and that is why it is illegal to change or alter numbers. The other thing about the changing of the frame, it is the primary ID Number.
I'll just wait until I see a post here where somebody finds out that there 1970 numbers matching car winds up with a 1976 frame and a 1973 engine with MATCHING NUMBERS. But I guess that will be OK and if it's not illegal anyway it shouldn't matter should it? Good Luck..................Jim
