Default Chassis Hardware Kit

Hi guys,

Is anybody out there doing a complete kit? My chassis is ready to go back together and I've decided I don't want to reuse the hardware that I pulled off. I could send it off to be cleaned and coated, but a lot of them - especially front end have been on and off so many times the heads are rounded, or dented, etc.

Are you looking for new fasteners I suggest Paragon. Recondition fasteners I suggest Rich @ Original GM Hardware.

Thanks, I'll get ahold of Paragon. I've used Rich in the past for a few things, but this isn't an NCRS level resto, so for the money, I'm okay with repo.

Attached are a coupe tabs from my 65 frame-off excel spreadsheet, sit down and walk the dog from front to back using the vendor of your choice so you don't miss anything. Reusing old rusty hardware is not worth the time or effort and looks like dog lips against a fresh painted frame. Couple (4) of the larger bolts and blocks to mount the A-Arm you are better to reuse your original (painted) ones. Key to a fresh and clean rolling chassis is ALL new hardware and rubber.

Many yrs ago when I did my 'El I took them in bags down to Osh hardware and replaced them all with grade 8 gold cad(term?) hardware..locknuts etc.
Had the interior type screws even in stainless. Few hundred bucks covered about everyhing way cheaper and stronger than repop
