Default 1972 Firewall panel install question?

I am ready to install my firewall panel back on the birdcage and I am a little confused by the assembly instruction manual. On sheet A13 titled Dash & Center plenum panel, it shows two different numbers: 150 is a sealer and 163 is an adhesive. In view A, in the bottom left corner of the page, it looks like the sealer and adhesive are one bead between the plenum and birdcage. Can anyone explain the difference between these two? When I separated the firewall from the birdcage, I only remember there being one type of sealer or adhesive and it was white colored and pliable like caulking. Any help would be greatly appreciated as what these substances are and what replacements to use for reassembly.

I used West System 610 epoxy. Holds super hard. Easy to find. Common caulk gun application. It is not original by any means so if you are going into a judging situation you will need a different product(s).
