20 Inch wheels on a C3????
Hi Does anyone have 20 inch wheels on a C3 maybe they can share a Photo. I am thinking of slappin some 20's on one of my cars but those 17's seem to look good on your cars also!! :steering: Thank you very much!!! Robbie

#2 the ride height adjustability (i dont need it to sit on the ground, but it looks good lowerd you cant deny that)

Hey 88 I will be in your town in August -you can see the 20's in person. I save the air bags for my 59 pont. only because you put so many :U in your response I might trade you a set of 20's for one of your cars 'hehe" See you in August we should get together Robbie

If someone think they look :U all I can say that I couldn't care less. I know how much superior these wheels are when compared to stock ones and why I went for these was simply because I wanted to improve the ride quality and handling. :steering:

hehe, I did some looking into it for my project. It seems the suspension geometry on the vette would be a problem, that's why air ride and the other companies don't make kits for vettes. Would have to go to a six link or similar setup in the rear to make it work. If you have never ridden in a street rod with a quality setup, don't diss the bags. And handling can be quite good as well.

I was emailing with this one guy quite long ago. He was doing air ride suspension to his 76 and he was almost finished. He sent me lot of pics of the project and it seemed very simple with all the instructions given. Off course my computer has crashed many times since and I've lost all that info as well as his email address.
The guy also had a NOS'd 454SS PU with 1000hp! :steering:

No thank you....IMHO...I say stick with 18's or less....any more and it's just overwhelming, it doesnt let the car stand out, just the wheels. C3's lines are too great to have all the attention drawn to the wheels.
Maybe if it was and SUV or truck with very unattractive lines(which is almost all of them), I could see going with 19+'s.
That being said do what makes you happy :cheers:
