starting problem HELP!!!
ive replaced the starter, alt., ignition switch, horn relay, and the thing still won't start. its been sitting for about 14 years, and i have a feeling i am gonna have to replace the wiring. i know that the engine isn't locked up, theres power going to the starter but nothing when i turn the key. any ideas before i start re-wire the damn thing????

There is a purple wire that goes from the starter (post closest to the block) to the ign. switch. This wire goes through the neutral safety, or clutch switch on its way back to the ign. switch. You need to check for fire, when you turn the key to start, on that wire. You can simply jump fire from the large battery post to that terminal on the starter to make the starter kick in.
