Need technical specs on 1979 L82 engine
Can anyone point me at technical specs on the '79 L82 engine where I can find such things as torque specs, valve sizes, etc?
In addition would like to find more general information such if the stock engine has a forged crank vs cast crank.
Ya'll can tell that I just now getting acquainted with my first Vette and am not very knowledgeable yet.

L-82s have a forged, steel crank. Torque for 1979 was 270 lbs-ft. When the L-82 debuted in 1973 it had 2.02" intake/1.60" exhaust valves but that may or may not have changed in later years.
