I'm guessing you mean the little **** down below the steering column?
IF so, then start the car and pull it down. If the door opens then it works. If it doesn't work, then swap the hoses over to the headlight override **** and pull down on that one. If it works, then there it is.

I saw in an old thread you switched to a toggle witch...excellent choice, you will never have a dead battery with that choice. If you didnt know, on a 68 if that switch is left in the open or ungrouunded position irt will eventually drain your battery as the wiper motor will leave the park position solenoid energized
