Gotta love that one. Just like all those pretty underhood air cleaners you see on classic cars, especially and particularly Corvettes.
Nice high flow aluminum heads with roller cam good lift and duration, high compression, great quench, the best carb tuning and ignition timing possible, great free flowing exhuast. unrestricted intake flow. Good gearing with a 5 speed manual or 4 speed auto.
Then BAM a pretty underhood air cleaner that sucks up all that nice hot air.
Who cares what it made on the engine dyno, you just threw that away in any scenario in which the engine heat is contained under the hood. Basically ANY regular street/road driving.
