Early Temperature gauge wiring and sensor
What are the connections for the 3 terminals shown.
My understanding is:
1. To Temp sensor on engine: variable resistor to GND
2. +12VDC
3. GND
Also, do you know what the resistance range is for the sensor?

My 1977 vette used 0-90 ohms. Pretty sure 1970 will be the same

You sure you weren't thinking of the gas gage sender for 90 to 0 ohms? Not sure any GM temp gauge sensor has that resistance range.
