Help with installing side pipes on 78 model
Hello:
I’ve seen quite a bit of discussion on the forum about side pipes but can anyone tell me the ins and outs of installing side mount headers on Edelbrock angle plug heads? Is there anything that doesn’t require a much of custom fabrication? I really like the look of side pipes but really don’t want to replace heads with straight plugs since these aluminum heads are nice and they are expensive to me. Can shorty headers for angle plugs with some minor added fabrication like extensions be made to work for side pipes?
