In 73 GM put a distributor rotor with a shorter tip, creating a larger gap to the distributor cap posts. Somehow it helped with emissions. Corvette suppliers now carry an extended tip rotor like the pre-emission cars. It is made by a company called K&B Corvettes.
So, I was asking if the Echlin heavy duty rotor was an extended tip type.
