richmond 6 speed swap
came across one and my friend seems to think it wont be that bad of a job I have a lift in my garage and
A great set of television repair tool ,,lol would I have to replace the drive shaft ,, flex plate, clutch ,would I need a hydraulic clutch
just looking for a little direction
What do you want to know?
Used the same clutch as the M21, Used a thm-400 out put yoke & a conversion u-joint to hook up the stock driveshaft, and used the same flywheel..... mine was a 10-spline ROD that I ordered from Summit....note that they also sold 26-spline. Anywhich way it would just be a clutch disk change.

...ohh... I think you are asking if you have to remove the crossmember to install the tranny. Well.... not really.... if you want to attach the tranny to the engine and lower it all in place at the same time you could do that..... would take some wiggling because as you can see it is a snug fit. Tranny is the same length as the M-21 but you can not PUSH it up with the crossmember in place..... there is just not enough room.
