Default Removeable hard top trim/seal question

Fix one, find one. That’s how its been for my ‘68. Well I finished the latest repairs and had it out on the road yesterday but when I went to roll the passenger side window up the weather strip piece fell off. I was like oh, what now ?
It’s shown here as “side rail upper and rear”. Apparently it was attached with weather strip adhesive only. The weather strip itself looks to be newer and has what looks like 6 points for the rectangular washers and screws to go but the holes in rubber hadn’t been pierced. The hardtop frame has the holes though so I guess at some time screws were securing it. The drivers side is the same but just hasn’t fallen off yet.
Just want to confirm that it should have the screw and washer attachment kit like below in addition to the adhesive and thats how yours are fastened.

My November 1969 Hardtop has 4 screws on the top edge and 3 screws on the side edge of the rubber molding.
