Default Mysterious SWITCH...
Hello there
I have a C3 1972 which I am rebuilding
I pulled the dash with is dials and instruments, successfully
and when checking the area, I found a switch I didn't know exist.
any idea of what is this and for which purpose.???

well
the TRIP ODOMETER is located udder the steering wheel in a very obvious place at the side of the overriding swich for the lights and whippers.
this switch is further up and completely hiden from view.
but thanks any how!

I am going to move this to C3 Tech, but you would really help those that may respond out by posting a pic of the switch and perhaps the location on the dash where the switch was found.

Could it be the solenoid on the back of the tach? It helps control the wiper arm cover door. It has electrical and vacuum to it.
