I know VB&P is out of business, but wondering if anyone else has experienced issues with some of their bushings.
My offset trailing arms are part of the complete VB&P adjustable performance suspension kit the prior owner installed about 10 years ago, and I had to replace these T/A bushings several months ago.(fun job, LOL).
Just noticed that my front shock upper bushings suffered the same fate, there is effectively nothing left of them.
Already replaced the T/A and front shock upper bushings with new quality parts.
It is very common. I replaced both sets of poly on my 66 and 68 vetted. I have done a few for friends as well. Some will swear by them. Many like me swear at them. Jerry

Excellent point. 15 years ago it was all the rage, many were selling poly as the greatest thing ever. Now for the best few years they are finding the poly is crumbling into shards of brittle junk.
Problem with the trailing arm bushings in poly is that the trailing arm not only swings up and down but turns in a bit of an arc looking at it from the rear......add that every last bit of power goes through that bushing and you can see why they disintegrate.......
When I redid mine...I went rubber on those bushings and went to a solid Heim Joint link bar.......

And squeek.
I was/am totally disapointed from some of the VB&P stuff, as they were "the guys" back then.
