Default Washable Dry Engine Air Filter?

Is there a round washable dry (non oil) engine air filter available for my 1970 350 motor? AEM makes a filter that is reusable and dryflow, but I don't see older years listed on their site?

WIX is a great air filter at a low price, but is it washable / reusable?

Washable filters are overrated. I had a K&N washable in my f-150 for 18 years, and I can count on one hand the number of times I washed it. Never needed to. Maybe it was because the air had to travel a half mile from the intake snout to the filter. Lol

It seems any cloth filter would be washable...using low-to-medium water pressure to keep from damaging the cloth.
I have vacuumed and washed quality (non-washable) filters for years with no problems, because I put lots of miles on the vehicle.

14 × 3 Airfilters are very inexpensive. I just throw on a new one about once a year just to keep it looking good.

Realistically a WIX is about what, $10. I'm not sure how many miles you put on in a year (hopefully you drive the wheels right off the car and enjoy it) or how many dust storms you drive through on a regular basis but I'd expect you could go a while before needing to really change it

I bought a K&N filter for my stock ‘71 270 HP enclosed air cleaner. Just a small mist, squirt of oil helps grab more dirt. I prolly won’t clean it for years.
My testimonial. Bought a K&N for the company work van; ‘03 4.8l LS deviant 3/4 T GMC that weigh in around 6600 lbs. It improved fuel mileage by 1/2 MPG. Not a huge improvement, but over 315k miles it gains significance. Then consider it only got cleaned every 50-60k miles. The light, misted oiling never bothered the air flow wire (that got cleaned twice). Never had to buy a filter, ever again.
After that experience, how could you not buy one???

Easy, because K&N's don't just flow more air. They also flow more dirt.
Dirt is Bad!

It went 315 thousand miles. How much damage did the dirt do? Again, 315 THOUSAND miles. In a GMC!

but over 315k miles it gains significance
I personally have engines with over 250,000 miles with K & N filters. Still same compression and oil consumption as when at 50k or 100k or 200k. I think it will have a lot more to do with the environment driven in and location of the filter relative to contamination exposure.
