So this is a weird find. The temperature sensor lead(Dark Green) obviously passes through the bulkhead connector . Funny thing that in the gauge side does not correspond with the engine compartment side( call it bulkhead connector #1). It appears that it lines up with the white-red-black lead which ends up at the coil. looking from the engine compartment side it lines up with the pink lead which goes to the ignition switch( call it bulkhead connector # 2) Hmmmm. Am I crazy or did I just stumble across an anomoly from 1969...

Agree to disagree. they are not lining up even if you pray. adjacent ones appear to be ok though...
