Wanted to share my cutouts setup,
If you ever decide to go this way - hopefully these pics will help as I couldn’t find any C3 online with them.
There is simply no room, no place on the exhaust manifold to put them except between the crossmember and diff.
Anywhere closer to engine - the seat buckets are in the way. There is always something in the way.
I have flowmaster exhaust, the sound volume is more than enough with them.
But, just to **** off my Mustang buddies I had to put cutouts for brief angry throttle snaps.
Once open…man its violent, babies cry, ladies panties drop etc. Fun times

nice work looks super clean. Where you got them and price of cut outs. Please
Agreed, looks really tidy.
I run a chambered exhaust system. I doubt there would be much difference with them open on my car.
Ladies pantys already drop.
I have Flowmaster 50 Series Delta Flow and they sound really nice. Loud on the exterior but comfortable inside the car.
Cutouts are sounding I guess like sidepipes. Just for showoffs in my case, can't imagine driving too far with that level of rumble. However the sound is amazing, pure power💥
