Default 1971 vac question

I’m back to assembly on my 71, I do have assembly drawings but I’m not feeling too confident on a few items. I don’t see where the “valve part of tach assembly” mounts on the back of the tach ? I’m thinking there may be a part broke off of mine?

I’m also not sure where the solenoid and ground wire mounts to the right of the radio. Thanks in advance!

DO yourself a favor and put that valve that goes on the tack behind or under the radio so if it breaks you can get to I with out taking the whole dash out it does not to bee ground put it any where it. is easy to get to plus the ground wire can go anywhere like any where to metal is maybe the window frame just below the window on the frame

That solenoid on the back of the tach merely has a couple screw mounts - nothing fancy. Here's a pic from another CF thread:

I don't recall where the rectangular relay is secured...

The relay is for the power windows. One of those wires comes from the circuit breaker on the firewall.

Thanks guys, I was at an impasse. Where does the power window relay originally mount? I didn’t see anything on the assembly drawings.

@grumman41 it's mounted on the metal cage that mounts the center gauge cluster and the center console. It's on the lower horizontal bar. Hopefully that's enough help for you to find a picture.

Hhhmm, I’ve got one relay already mounted on the console cross support but don’t see a hole for another screw. Can someone help with the mounting location for this relay? Thanks.

On a 69 there are two relays mounted there. This one is on the left.
