78 Corvette Driver Side T Top Stuck
Purple is the latch that rolls back and releases the t tops
Aren’t square looks like the driver side (left side) is pushed back more

Hey guys so I recently got keys made for my t top locks and my passenger side t top pulls down and pops out smoothly..the driver side on the other hand doesn’t..it just pulls down from the starting position and gets frozen there..I put wd40 on it and tried it again the next morning and still no luck..it’s like the latch won’t roll back to release the t top..any suggestions or help on how to fix this? I saw people try to use a screw driver to release the pin from the top but I can’t seem to do that with mine. It looks like the two t tops aren’t squared and the driver side is more pushed in..I’ve attached some photos so you can can see what I’m looking at.. Thank You..
