I replaced it with a new felpro (similar to the blue one I had in my old engine but honestly I don't think that was the issue because it still leaks with the drill at high speed.
Now the current issue
No matter how long I try I can't get oil to the passenger side rockers. Initially I thought the amazon tool was the issue so I chopped my distributor
Still I can't get any oil - I did turn the engine a bunch of times while priming
Is this a fresh build?
There are a couple of oil galley plugs in the rear of the block inside the bellhousing that would spew like that if you forgot to install them.
Also there are plugs in the deck surface under the heads, but that oil would run down on the outside of the bellhousing flange and the side of the head.
edit: I don’t believe a bad rear main would leak like that from priming without the motor turning.
As previous commenter said if you rotate the crank it should start to come out of Cyl #2 but also note that many of those primers don't properly seal off the oil passage coming from the pump. I have that same tool from amazon and I had to keep the primer tool about 1/4 inch higher than it's resting position to allow oil to make it to the cylinder #2 rockers. Can't tell from video but is your drill turning clockwise?
You should see oil pressure on the gauge long before the oil reaches the rockers. Are you getting pressure? If not there is an open leak somewhere, but if it were rear plugs missing i'd expect a lot more oil than that. Did you use a sealant on the rear main cap face? I suspect it's leaking between the main cap and block mating surfaces.
