Hi,
passenger window switch was loosening or not tight to center. Now won’t go down but up.
any advice on best switch or replacing? Are they generic gm switch i should try nos?

Remove passenger seat, front and middle screw side trim, remove 2 screws to liftslightly the console to access 9/32 scews..remove only forward screw loosen rear slightly raising to fit 1/4 socket to loosen, switch slides out. Pay attention to the small pin as they reverse from driver to passenger.
it appears the stakes let go and point’s basically fell out.
filed points, note reverse the plastic as it was worn through and protectfrom water..do not use tape where it rubbs as it squeaks compared to plastic.
3 hands stake with screwdriver hammer..seems to hold.
