Default Testing all cluster gauges 79

New owner learning,
seems as though my gauges are all for show, or at least I don’t rust them.

I’ve been trying to locate all of my sensors so I can start the ground out method.

But what I think to be my temperature sensor has only one green wire.(first pic)

then the next sensor also has one wire(second pic)

driver side under alternator.

Just under distributor

Car is off

Update-
1) grounded wire in first pic maxed out temp gauge
2) then disconnected fully and bottomed out gauge
- conclusion gauge works and cleaned up connection as seen covered in oil.
Other gauges in progress

believe second pic is my oil pressure but converted to electric for some reason.

I’m going to make video on each successful check! (And attach link)

Sender in first picture is for your temperature.
Sender in second picture is for your oil pressure. It is factory.
No mechanical gauges were available, only electric gauges and senders for your year. Both the temp and oil pressure only used a single wire.

thank you for the knowledge. There’s a slight leak I have here which from exhaust manifold. It looks like something doesn’t line up correctly.

hard to tell from pic but on the corner there looks like a flap of gasket and a hole in it to a hole in block for a bolt

Default Update

Oil pressure sensor and gauge work, temp gauge and gas gauge work.

I have to add some gas and look for any change in it.
