Those wheels have 4¼" back spacing. The Corvette rally wheels have 4" back spacing.
There may be an interference problem at the steering arm or tie rod end.
The Camaro wheels have "nubs" welded on the back to center them on the hub or axle.
This is called hub centric.
If you use a spacer, you will not have the wheel located by the nubs and will be depending on the lug nuts for that.

The Z/28 wheels are 15x7, narrower then the 72 Corvettes 15x8 rally wheel. I can't imagine any reason to put a narrower then stock wheel on a Corvette, or any car. When using rims with a backspacing of more than 4" often causes interference with the trailing arms and parking brake cable bracket.
