My blue bright light indicator is not coming on, however my headlights (both high and low beams) are working and I can switch back and forth when pressing the headlight dimmer switch on the floorboard. I have checked all grounds, tried multiple bulbs, inspected the bulb socket, inspected as much of the wire as possible, and I cannot find any problems. So here is my question: Can the headlight dimmer switch on the floorboard function correctly in switching back and forth from high to low beam, but not illuminate the indicator bulb in the speedo? It is only a $10 part and I am thinking of replacing it anyway just to see. I am curious if anyone else has experienced the same issue. If it is not the switch, I am at a loss where to look next.

On the dimmer switch there are 4 wires (green-green-tan-and blue).
One GREEN goes to the high bream bulbs.
The other GREEN goes to the high beam indicator in the dash.
The TAN wire feeds the low beam bulbs.
The BLUE feeds the rheostat in the headlight switch.
Check that the second GREEN is connected to the floor switch.
Did you happen to check if the socket is energized when the hi beams are on? The second green wire to the dimmer switch could sure be the problem. If that isn't it check the socket. If it's cold with the hi beams on, you'll need to trace the wire from the dimmer switch to the socket.
