I’m sorting out the upper ignition shielding on a 72 LT-1 and having problems on the drivers side with interference with the throttle and tach cables. I suspect those cables are not routed correctly but I don’t see an obvious alternative. Can anyone post photos or diagrams on the right way to do this? TIA
This is the way mine run. I’m not sure they are correct but coincidentally I was playing around with my throttle cable last weekend and this was the only way it would really work. I also looked at about a dozen LT-1s on BAT and there were several variations. Hope this helps.
Thanks a lot for the photos. I may not have the same attachment hardware at the bottom end as mine places the shield much closer to the support causing interference with the throttle cable. Hmmm . . .
