Default Mystery Wire Identification

Working my way through the engine compartment, ran across this wire and odd connecter.

appears to emanate from the wiring harness, unfortunately I cannot determine the color.

hoping someone in the know could identify it, car is 68 L79, PS, PB, AC.

I believe that is your low brake pressure warning switch connector. Fitting is on the proportioning valve.

Thanks very much, it appears the nipple thingie the wire connects to is on the underside, any idea how this switch
is invoked, ie, always hot and grounding completes the circut or vice versa?

either way thanks for the info, my e brake dash light works correctly so that’s hopeful.

>>> Think I answered my own question as only a red wire running to it..
