Renegade Manifold Alert!
I WILL be calling them in the morning to find out if they are indeed making our manifold some how without our permission. If so, my attorney will get involved quickly. I want to think that Eckler's is selling something they do not have and their site is totally wrong and out of date for whatever the reason.

So, the FACT is, if you have paid money to Eckler's for a Renegade that is NOT available, please call them ASAP and get a refund started. I hope that anyone that did this used a credit card to make the refund go easier and just stop payment on the card as a fraudulent sale which is what they are doing. I will be contacting the my customers about this that called me tog give them the correct information concerning this.
Any info about the Renegade to become available again WILL be posted in my Blog on my site which WILL be the official notification on the subject.
question, will the stock manifold lid work with this? A little more stock/stealth looking.
I’ll watch this thread for updates!

I remember many threads about an aftermarket intake made of unobtainium when I had my 84 crossfire but I sold that about 15 years ago only that one took preorders and had many threads about people who had been waiting a long time.

To answer another question that was thrown out there, the Renegade started to be an idea on the drawing board...actually a napkin sketch while at a margarita pool party back in 2007 with a bunch of local 82 owners and evolved over the years until actually produced by DCS. This was when the XRam manifold was just starting to become available and wasn't worth a ****. The Renegade outperforms the XRam hands down.
We pulled the tooling from a Cali company because they couldn't machine the manifold correctly and had all kinds of manufacturing issues. I even heard from customers that the Cali company was blaming us for pour tooling. What a laugh that was/is. The tooling when they received it had only a couple hundred pours at that point and was like new. I got fed up with the lack of quality from that company and drove to Cali and picked up all the tooling with a former company partner and a friend of mine. We NEVER thought about taking the manifold outside of the country for any reason to be manufactured, its not gonna happen. It says on the manifold MADE IN USA. If that doesn't happen, then the manifold will not be made, period.
Most people have no idea what is involved to get things made like a manifold and the process involved in all of that. It is not easy and goes slowly unless you want to throw crazy money at it to move it along faster. I guess if it was easy, everyone would be doing it, right? I have had people that wanted to purchase the tooling over the years, but money talks and BS walks. I only except serious inquiry's on that subject, not people that are fishing for a freebee.
