Default Dash Lights

Hey Guys i have a 1981 with no dash lights, high beam or signal lights , all external lights are working including the dohm and like the windshield , heater lights ect. . i have replaced the center pc, checked the fused and cleaned the fuse box, checked the switch, also checked the ground on the back of cluster. also check the dimming control on the switch and on the back of cluster and checked all bulbs it all is working correctly but still no dash lights on the center and the main cluster. i am out of options and a cannot find a schematic. I'm a cheap *** and don't want to spend the money for this one thing .. Thanks

Look on the Forum, there are usually schematics provide by Papawanna, they are free. My uneducated guess maybe the large connector that goes to the back of the fuse box. I have seen posts where this has caused problems, try using Google to look for the posts that explain the issues and remedy.

Default Dash lights

I have an 81 as well, I didn't think mine were working either but if your trying to see them in the daytime outside or even in a garage it's almost impossible. Wait til evening or dark then check, they are very dim
