New mufflers inside the Hooker side pipes
Where can I find replacement mufflers for the inside of my Hooker side pipes?
How much do they run and how hard are they to install?
Thanks.
Got too much on my mind. Typed headers when I meant side pipes.

Where can I find info on the JCL's?
In what terms do the standard mufflers "suck". Do they drain horsepower?
Thanks.

Depending on what engine application you have...yes, they will hurt power. I just installed some Hooker sidemounted headers on my BB and the Hooker glasspacks with them. Top-end power definitely suffered. I pulled them out within 40 miles. I have them for sale very cheap (less than 1/2 cost of new) if you want to take a shot and try them. Obviously there's nothing wrong with them, but they were just too restrictive for my BB.
Sound was fine, I thought.

Just checked my e-mail and found a note from JCL, so I've found the information on their baffles.
This looks like the way to go if I want to quiet the sidepipes without losing HP.
Thanks, guys!!

Be sure to ask if they know of any barely used baffles at a reduced price...can't hurt to ask

Good choice. You will be very pleased with them. :) I installed some on my car about a week+ ago and am very happy.
