Default C3 T-Bar re-construction

Aloha All,

As some of you know My C3 project does not have a t-bar. I haven't had time to get into the car lately working two jobs, but finally found a T-Bar and chrome. This forum will document the slow process of re-building it to help anyone in the future. I would appreciate if anyone who provides detailed pictures of their T-Bar installation as well. As you can tell from these initial pieces there are a few pieces of fiber glass that look like them may attach to something else. Currently I am not sure if its other pieces of the frame or maybe just trim mounting. My project is gutted to the skin, so lots of reading in the AIM and research will be done. Here is the pics of the bar I received and I will update as I clean it up. Thanks to all.
V/r,
Karp

I cleaned it up, painted it and tried getting the seized bolts out Which is where the t-top hold downs mount. I may have to drill and re-tap those holes if needed, but that's for the far future. Next week I'll bring in the chrome cover to straighten it up and polish it.

Here are the pics of the chrome after work. It cleaned up nice but there is still some scratches. Oh well it's better than I had.

Aloha All,
Looks Like I hit a snag on the T-bar project. If you look at the pictures, you can see the windshield portion has the chrome from what I suspect is the convertible model. Then if you look closely at the pictures of the back portion you can see that the original T-bar is there but has been cut flush. Which is why I thought it must bolt in or something.
This will delay anything I do with this bar project.
I am placing this portion of the C3 Monster on hold.
As I have limited time to work on it anyways, my goal is to get it working then tackle other projects such as this. Thank you all for your thoughts and comments. Can take/upload better pictures upon request.
Cheers,
Karp
