I had issues with the plastic pins lining up with Corvette Centrals, I think it was a “one off” issue and they were great to work with. I am aware of the different years and pin alignment on later years.
I ended up re ordering from a company in the northern US (sorry I don’t have the invoice with me), it fit perfect but there where some metal parts I had to remove as they actually poked they the weatherstripping and scratched my chrome halo trim. I called the supplier and they really had no answers. There is also several places in the corners where the foam coating pulled off. I wasn’t really satisfied with that but the company was very fair and sent me another set. Again, both companies had good communication and were timely in finding some type of resolution.
Quick edit, the second company was Corvette Rubber and I would probably go that route again. Not sure about the metal issue though, maybe a one off issue?
I’m not sure about the “base” material, maybe someone can weigh in. From speaking with Corvette Rubber, the coating is a latex. Overall, I like the feel of the CR but still have concerns about the internal metal structure that scratches the chrome and obstructs the t top from settling properly.
