Default '72 Oil gauge fitting assistance

I replaced my oil line with a braided line and the adapters that came with the kit didn't include a 90 that would help me in that tight space. If I use the adapter and 90 supplied, it extends about 1.5" off the gauge. I'm trying to tuck this in tight, but can't find a the adapters I need to do this.

As anyone done this and if so, what configuration of adapters did you use. I just replaced the carpet and added Vintage AC, so I need to avoid an oil spill and I'm not sure how much room I'm going to have behind the gauge now.

Thanks,
Keith

This might give you what you need. Screws directly into the gauge.

The gauge fitting is a different critter. Some have had success using a npt fitting and some sealant or just driving it into the threads on the gauge and it seals
Here's one method of dealing with it

I made a fitting to suit my needs but that's probably not much help to you
