Default Preparing for NCRS Judging and need help

Hi,
I'm preparing my 78 Pace Car for judging and these are the things I need to correct:

1) Headlight operation:
Found out that my headlight relays needed rebuilding so there out and on the way to be rebuilt.

2)Antenna operation:
Turn the radio on motor runs but antenna doesn't go up.
Taking it out tomorrow to be rebuilt.

3)AC/Heat System:
My controller operates the fan, AC and heat cycles but doesn't properly direct the flow to AC vents or defroster no matter what the flow stays at the floor vents.
Have no idea how this operates or how to trouble shoot.

4) Tach:
My tach isn't operating it stays buried at 7k.
No idea what to look for or how to trouble shoot this either.

5) Alarm System:
Close all doors turn key to left to set the alarm and the horn continuously sounds. Do the t tops on a car with vin number 02380 have the t tops connected to the alarm system?
No idea what to look for or how to trouble shoot this either.

The NCRS judging is November 3-4 and I'm hoping to have all these gremlins cleared up by then and would really appreciate any help.
Thanks, Pat

All the items you listed are operation problems. Every line item on the operational judging sheet is worth 25 points. Many are surprised at how many point you can loose in operations. Make sure you check your systems and fix as much as you can before judging. Make sure you have fluid in your windshield washer system/

The Willcox tech-tips site is no longer online. Thankfully, Ernie's YouTube videos are still hosted.

Looks like Zip sells the Willcox-designed board.

It's vacuum operated, not unlike the headlamps. Actuators open the doors and a vacuum line connects to the controller. Use your vacuum pump to troubleshoot...you may have a leak or the rubber elbows that connect the vacuum line to the actuator may have broken. They can get brittle and crack.

4) Tach:
My tach isn't operating it stays buried at 7k.

Replace the tach board, located behind the tachometer. You'll have to remove the cluster

5) Alarm System:
Close all doors turn key to left to set the alarm and the horn continuously sounds. Do the t tops on a car with vin number 02380 have the t tops connected to the alarm system?
No idea what to look for or how to trouble shoot this either.
With the top removed, look at the back of the t-top, at the top of the door jamb, if you have the option, the plunger switch is located on a chrome plate.

Good luck! Hope this helps.
