Emblem Restorations

I'm restoring my 1971, I've used lacquer to remove all old paint. Cleaned with triple 00 steel wool and repainted painted with enamel paint.
Should I leave it alone or spray a coat of clear on them?

Could you post a picture of the emblems, I’ve been thinking of restoring my original emblems.

I've restored many emblems using either spray paint or Testors model paint. I always give them a shot of clear when done.

I did these 23-24 years ago on my El Camino and are getting to where they need a redo. Used Testors model car paint & a brush. Maybe clear would have helped, who knows. Can't hurt. I would use 4 ought (0000) steel wool though.
