Default Chrystler 300M

My parents are thinking about getting a 2003 300M and was wondering what you guys think about them? They seem pretty nice to me. 255 hp and 285 tq. Quarter mile in 15.9 :D Not bad for a family car.

I have always liked them. Should be a terrific car for the family.

I love the 300M as a sporty family car. But one word of caution.. RELIABILITY. Chrysler is well known for sharp looking cars, but very spotty reliability according to all Consumer Reports Owner Surveys. So but it with caution and with a posssible extended warranty if you plan on it being a long-term purchase.

I have always thought they were pretty good, and when my grandpa asked me to go car shopping with him, I thought about looking at one but we (my name is on the car too) ended up buying the Pontiac Bonneville SSEi (the one with the supercharger :D ). It had a has a long list of options, heated leather seats, moonroof, onstar, 8 speaker Bose stereo, 17" chrome wheels, traction control, 12 way power seats, the 240hp/280tq supercharged 3.8 V6, and much more. The car is extremely nice, fast, and always reliable. I'll try and post some pics some time. The price on the new one is $36k. But you can get a 2000 or 2001 model for less than $25k in perfect condition, and it'll be the same as 2003. Sorry for the rant, but just wanted to give you/your parents some info on another car thats out there. Hope you like whatever you choose

The SSEi's are a really nice car. I also like the gtp's (same supercharged 3.8L engine) But after looking at some pictures of 300M's i'm realllllly starting to like them. They are just so classy. Check out this picture with dub's on it :D I think that looks damn good!

What do you think?

They are nice cars. I think I am getting ready to go the Chrysler (Jeep) route myself..
