Default Anyone recognize these wires?

They come off a larger bundle of wires behind the engine. One is orange and connects to a capacitor.

The other end has two black wires that have been spliced. They are not connected together.
My wipers do not work and I'm wonderings if this is the reason.

I cant find them on the wiring diagram.

Hello. On my 69 the orange wire with the capacitator goes to the blower motor for the heater. The black wire simply fits under one of the small bolts that holds the blower motor in place and is a ground I believe. However mine only has one black wire so I don't know what the second wire is for .Perhaps a ground for your non working wipers, a ground for the motor? Take care.

On my 72
The heater wires look like this. Also, IIRC, the wiper motor ground was through the heater motor ground and went to the wire that either got attached to the starter motor bolt or the transmission housing bolt beside it, at least 69-72 did.... 68 well who knows

Perfect, I had Vintage Air installed.

The installer just left the wires hanging there.
