Mocking up all the parts I scraped up, seeing some of them are unobtainable. What am I missing? Stud on the pump is about 3 inches from the mounting slot. Been studying the AIM and don't see a solution, so I know you guys can see something.
Thanks Tony

Hope these help a little. There is about 5 brackets.
The small and large z shape supports and the rectangle across the top, the bottom cup that is pretty common and the big alternator bracket that wraps around and bolts to the first exhaust manifold bolt

Either you have that bottom bracket mounted incorrectly or its the wrong one. It looks like you have the rest of them correct up top....yours points down and mine is more horizontal...take off the pump and try different holes on the block.....

We have a 1968 BB C3 and it came with the standard Power Steering system and this meant I had to adjust the multiple belts regularly. Many years later after I rebuilt my engine I bought a replacement of the bracket shown above from PARAGON and it worked great. I removed the original brackets and pulleys and sand-blasted them before putting them away. I replaced all the pulleys and brackets on my newly rebuilt engine before re-installing it to the car, the originals had 72k miles of wear and tear and the rebuilt engine looked so good. The only pulley you don't want is the Early 1968 water pump pulley as it spins slower than the newer style water pump pulley. Since you have a 1969 this shouldn't be an issue, it was the cause of a recall in January 1968.
I finally just got the bug and switched from the multiple belts to a MARCH Serpentine Belt which really cleans up the engine. MARCH and it is a pretty good design and the construction. I have had mine for about 20 years and I had major problems on the brackets due to the coating peeling off within weeks of purchase.
TURN ONE is the company that makes or rebuilds the Power Steering parts. You might check with them. They KNOW Power Steering equipment!
