My 82 stock cross-fire dies when warm. Restarts after 15 minutes then dies after 2 blocks. Limped it home doing this for over a mile. Any clues ?...ZERO cross-fire gurus in this area and am able to do my own work. Thanks. I'm sure this has been addressed but nothing on search.

there are indeed some 82 gurus around here.

This may not apply since this is a story about a Camaro, but maaaaaaybe it will help. In the 90’s I had a friend with a crossfire Camaro that would randomly die and sometimes start, other times wouldn’t. I finally traced the issue to the wide plug in the steering column, it was getting damaged from current draw and melting a bit and the metal was just hella crusty. I ended up pulling the damage wires and putting new ends on them and it was fine. Might be worth checking if there is a plug like that in the Corvette. Good luck!

Nope, but when it dies did you check if the injectors are spraying fuel. Do you have proper fuel pressure? Does it start with a squirt bottle? Do you have spark? Have you looked at the data stream from a scan tool because bad sensors don't always throw a trouble code.
Troubleshooting procedures for Crossfire is exactly the same for any GM TBI car or truck.

What state are you in, put it in your profile. Like mentioned, do you get a CEL? Lots of things may be causing the issue, just need to narrow it down a bit. When you say dies when warm, is that at idle or driving and coming to a stop or what? Looking at the data stream is unrealistic for most owners or above their knowledge level, but there are other ways to skin a cat.
A couple of thoughts, My son's 84 could be driven for quite awhile but die without warning. I think it was the ignition module needed insulating gel under the module but this was long ago. Still worth checking into that with an an extra module to install after it dies.
I had an 84 that would run ok until I shut it off after driving it for awhile.but then after stopping for a bit, it would not start until cooled off. The water pump was leaking and after turning the engine off the water temp rose. As best as I can remember there is a sensor that determines the engine is hot, and the water is low so it goes into a no-start condition. I can't remember specifics but it may somehow tie into the oil pressure sensor causing a no-start condition or maybe that was another time, another car and another problem.
As someone else mentioned, pour some gas down the injector to see if it starts then.

I thought you were the guy that had his 82 in the shop and the shop bought an EBL from me today and was from Washington. I guess it wasn't you since you said yours was parked in the garage...unless it is parked in the shop garage.
