One for EFE (Early Fuel Evaporation). Now, how many Thermostatic Vacuum Switches (TVS) are there? The answer is two. One for EFE (thermo housing) and the other for EGR (intake manifold). Two different TVS switches each with it's own part number.
Simple answer to your question is NO, they are not the same...
You will need to go to your assembly manual.
The numbers in the 77 assembly manual for the EGR & EFE switches are found on UPC 6L Sheet 4.
This becomes confusing because there were 3 options for each switch in 1977 anyways.
I was fortunate to have the original switches and part numbers to go by.
Here is what was in my 77.
Notice the EFE switch changes state at or around 180*
The EGR switch changes state at or around 120*
