Default ? on correct air cleaner

My 70 is serial number 10498 produced in May of 70.What is the correct air filter assembly for the car. Open assembly or the dual snorkel.

My source says "the majority of the 1970 vettes use open element, 70's assembled after mid June 1970 except LT1s use the 1971-1972 closed element." You therefore should have the open one.

NCRS reports that "after about serial number 12,000" a closed element was used except on the LT1 and LS6. So yours should be open.

Mine has an open element. I don`t know if it is original or not but it does have the AC Delco stamp under the lid so I assume it is original.
