I’m having trouble with my hood staying latched and this is the second time I’ve had to deal with this issue. I’m thinking about going with some kind of hood pins but I was wondering if there is any kind of magnetic closure out there? I really don’t want to drill holes in the hood and if there was some kind of magnetic closure that could be used, this might work without any drilling of the hood. Not much information out there about magnetic closures so I thought I’d ask the pros on the forum. Photos appreciated. Thanks!

 

Like a fire or security door? You'll still need to drill holes in the hood to place a steel strip.

Perhaps post some photos? It might be a simple adjustment to fix the problem.

 

I will get some photos tomorrow. I’m just trying to think outside the box and was thinking there might be a way to bolt a magnetic disc on the hood using what is already in place.
