My memory isn't what it used to be. Now I take lots of pics. But I didn't take on of the inside.
I want to re-install my Hurst shifter handle. There are basically 4 components. The shifter body on the transmission, the 2 bolts, the handle, and the grooved spacer.
I think the bolt in the pic is reversed. I should have installed it left to right. The head of the bolt on the driver’s side and the nut on the passenger side.
So please help…
Is it shifter body (furthest left or drivers side) then the handle and then the spacer locking it down with a nutt?
I have a picture, which I’m not sure will help. If YOU have a picture, that would help. It just shows the components. BTW: the car is a 1969. Not sure that is relevant either.
