Don't know switch style seems more modern than C3.

Remove panel and start tracing wires I guess.

Sorry no help.

Doesn't look stock. Some ideas...hood light, ignition defeat, burglar alarm, power amp. Check what else is on the car that is not factory for a clue?

Edit Update: Yep...the Corvette Black Book shows a "C50" Rear Window Defroster option!

You didn't say what year but this is for a '74-'75 with a blower.
When GM changed to an element style defogger in '76 the switch changed to a two pin....just on or off.
'76 also had a one year only switch with a red indicator light...

Looks like an add on customized switch. Not factory to whatever year this C-3 Corvette is.

Nope....that's factory. Believe it or not.
The switch in Peterbuilt's diagram is mounted in the left front trim piece of the forward console.

Just like in the pic......

1968-72 had the C50 option with the switch in the same place. The early cars just used a rotating switch instead of a toggle switch.

The car is a 1975 4speed. All original except for side pipes.
it does not have a defroster element on the glass, are you saying there is defroster blower?

Yes! Under the driver's side rear carpet you will find the blower motor.
#5 is at the top of the rear quarter panel.
