Hell.......I ain't old
Hmmmmm....seems to me that I have neckties older than some of you fellows..........but thats okay.....they have been in and out of style several times
Didn't get to own my first Vette til I was 61 ....a real pretty Silver Green '82 and I am about to get my old age pension this year so they tell me........wife keeps telling me to act my age but I remind her that I don''t know how.....never done this before. Neighbours say I am having a middle age crisis but I tell them that was about 25 years ago and all my fellow teachers think I am crazy while they sit and rock while I love cruising and buzzing down the highway at 3 figure speeds.
All I can say is that Vetting has given me a new life and I love it.......and speaking of remembering..........how many remember buying a Coca Cola for a nickel from a pop machine?......now thats old! :cheers:

Haaaa, I remember that... it was about 1957 I think, and a Nickel would get a small 6oz glass bottle Ice Cold coke... dos'ent seem that long ago... :crazy:

I am 35 years old but I remember buying a 6.5 ounce coke for a dime at the local parts store with my POP..in the mid 70's

Put me down for a old timer too. I can remember when we got the first TV in our neigbour hood and had the only phone in the block. I remember the small bottle cokes, I remember when a friend got the first 265 56 chevy. He had a V8.

NHvette. Don't knock the sex. Just because we are old doesn't mean we are not getting any. If you are good you will get the sex. Be considerate, practice all you can and eat lots of jello pudding in the contains. Leave the spoon at home. :) :)

I don't remember 5 cent Cokes, but I do remember 10 hamburgers for a buck, penny loafers, peace symbols, bell bottom blue jeans (the first time around), being able to make a call on a pay phone for a dime, and something about "nickel" bags of mary jane (P.S.- I never inhaled).
