I bought mine years ago from VB&P. I need another set for a new QA-1 friends project. The beauty is adjustability. When you are driving down a rough road you want your tires to keep road contact. So if you throw on stiffer front springs and say a 1 1/8th front sway bar you have greatly increased the tires ability to make verticle travel. By adding spring end links it allows for small wheel verticle travel before the spring compresses and then sway bar comes into play.
just what I was looking for. I'm big on adjustability. When you install something like a QA-1 coil over shock kit on the front end of a Vette they spring ends are very benificial. So I installed the 450# QA1 single adjust with tubular upper and lower a-arms. The 69 had solid rod ends on the front sway. So you kind of guess at the front ride height on installation by turning up the collars to @ 1 3/4 inches using my vette as an example. After driving the 69 around to settle the springs his front end was 1/2 inch higher on the passenger side. So when I turned the collar down to get the 1/2 inch the sway bar pulled the drivers down a 1/4 inch. So you had to tweak both sides because of the sway bar 1 1/8th. The spring end idea makes the front tires more independant.

Looks like you found your answer. BTW, An excellent source of hardware is McMaster-Car. It's amazing all the stuff they sell. Quite often they sell in small lots and are less expensive than local hardware stores and their selection is unmatched. As for springs, they sell custom made springs for $300 to $400 each, but maybe 200 springs instead of 1 will cost $1000. Here's a lot of premade springs sold individually. https://www.mcmaster.com/products/springs/. I order stuff from them and can get delivery the next day.
