Sorry for the extremely brief post. Having trouble with the internet tonight. Took a bit just to load photos.
A new guy in the car club. Having a couple issues. Asked me to come by this coming weekend and have a bit of a look.
He sent me these 2 photos. Says it's a Holley.
Not like any Holley I'm used to.
What can anyone tell me about this carburetor in the pictures above?
Probably a 0-1850.....the cheapest Holley they make. And surprisingly.....can be made to run pretty decent on 300hp engine with a couple of tricks.....one is a yellow spring for the vac sec can.....the other is jetting, these have a 59 in them I believe and need a 64 or better to even begin to run right on a mild 350........
The part # is on the front of the choke horn.....

the side pivot float bowls is what's throwing you off , you are used to looking at center pivot float bowls and the side pivot's look funny, Ford used side pivot bowl factory stock on their inline 2x4 set ups for clearance when mounted inline on a 427 Ford from the 60's as far as factory use
